Tabi Captain Nodes are the governors of Tabi's incentive mechanism. Node owners get to decide and influence which games can receive the most rewards & thrive within the Tabi ecosystem.
Tabi Captain Nodes are at the core of Tabi's economic system, and Captain Node operators will also become owners of the Tabi ecosystem:
Earn up to 40% of $TABI total token supply in 3 years
Voting power to determine which games receive and % of $TABI rewards and potential revenue share
Voting power = Ongoing airdrops & benefits from games to users
The current pricing model for the nodes of other projects is structured from low to high, for the various different tiers, however nodes of different tiers have no difference in computing power. This provides early node buyers a significant cost advantage, as subsequent owners are purchasing the exact same node, but at a continuously higher price. Our node pricing strategy is different from all other projects on the market; it is our original price economic model. Nodes are divided into five levels, with a higher base mining power for the higher levels. However, within each level, the pricing for the individual tiers start from high to low instead. At the same time, the different tiers of nodes will activate sequentially, gradually entering the Tabi network starting from the earliest tier to the later tiers. Therefore, within the same level, node owners of earlier tiers will pay higher prices to obtain more $TABI tokens as they have a headstart in mining, whereas owners of higher tiers might receive less $TABI tokens initially due to their later entry time, however the cost of their nodes will be lower. Under this model, every user can set their own entry strategy and the overall distribution of $TABI tokens will be healthier too.
The actual mining power for each individual captain node varies according to different factors, but one of the most important of which is the base mining power of the node itself, that follows the node's level. As there are 5 different levels, there will be 5 different base node powers, with Level 5 nodes having the highest. This means that for subsequent node owners who purchase later, for instance from Level 2 onwards, they will receive nodes with greater mining power and revenue potential, ensuring that there can be willing later buyers, just with different strategies and time horizons. The actual amount of tokens that a node will mine daily is thus determined by their eventual mining power, which also includes other factors such as their staking rate and operational uptime, as well as the relative power of the other nodes in the network.Learn the complete mining mechanism of Tabi Captain Node here👇
Another novel design introduced via captain nodes is the concept of "Play-to-Upgrade", where node owners can upgrade and level up their nodes by participating in Tabi's gaming ecosystem. When a node owner plays the games that are within the ecosystem, they can earn experience points over time, based on their playing time and contribution to the games, which can then be used to increase the mining power of their node, and even to level up the nodes if enough experience points have been accumulated. For node owners who may not be gamers themselves, Tabi will still offer the opportunity to level up these nodes, by working with various node infrastructure platforms and gaming guilds, that will allow these node owners to "rent" out their nodes to other players, who can play and help earn experience points on their behalf. Through this mechanism, Tabi ensures that the node owners are also aligned with the games, as they can bring actual real players to these games, with the success of the games benefitting the node owners and token owners too. Thus, the model is designed such that the more you contribute to the ecosystem, the more you are rewarded as well.
You need to use your computer and run the node program. Please note that in order to obtain $TABI, you must keep the node active to participate in maintaining the Tabi network. Of course, to make it easier for node owners to run nodes, we are considering a node hosting service. We will release detailed instructions on running nodes in the future.
